

THRASHER, Carol Mae “Cookie” 78 of Englewood passed away peacefully Monday, February 25, 2013 at home surrounded by her loving family. Cookie is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years Earl T. Thrasher Jr.; one son and daughter-in-law Earl “Tom” III and Bobbie Thrasher of TX; three daughters and sons-in-law Shelly and Lynn Baxter of KY, Judi and Don Privett of TX, Connie and Randy Boatman of Englewood; daughter-in-law Sherri Thrasher of TX; grandchildren and their spouses, Gary Thrasher, Danny (Daniel) Thrasher, Dawn Snook, Brian (Jenn) Snook, Raquel (Thad) Beasley, Sean (Tara) Baxter, Jeremy Wyatt, Angie (Nick) Miranda, Andy (Bailey) Corp, Ashley Bair, Timi, Christy, Jessica, Sarah, Jessica, Tammy, Valerie; several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers and one sister-in-law John King, Steve King both of Dayton, Glen Jr. and Velma King of Beavercreek; sister Mary Ann Heltsley of Brookville; 2 sisters-in-law Pat King and Ann Fugate, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Terry Thrasher, a daughter Barbie Thrasher, two brothers, her twin brother Bill King and Jerry “Dutch” King; two sisters Pat Herzog, Betty Kinsey; her parents Glen Frank and Laura Evelyn (nee Grant) King and his father and mother-in-law Earl Sr. and Edith (nee Humble) Thrasher. There will be a Gathering of Family and friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road Friday, March 1, 2013 starting at 3:00 pm, followed by a Celebration of Cookie’s life at 4:00 pm with Chaplain Steve Wetterhan presiding.
