Although I had not seen him in many years, we were boyhood friends and also were claims adjusters in the same industry. We road motor scooters and had a great a great time in our teens. I am sure he will be missed sorely.

He was my 1st coach in any type of sports and a paper route customer as well. I liked him for being the father figure I lacked, fair and firm..

To the entire Tancred family:
Coach Tancred made an incredible impact on me, first, as my pee wee football coach. At every point throughout my time at Northmont, whenever I would see Coach, he was always willing to encourage me. His pleasant but firm demeanor told me that he cared about me. I will always remember his smile, and the fact that no matter how long it had been since I was in contact with him last, he always remembered me and was genuinely glad to see me. I pray that God will bless all of you during this time, and that you never forget all the great things Coach Tancred stood for and passed on to many, many Northmont area youth during his lifetime.

It is always hard to loose a classmate from the class of 1950. I have not seen him for many years but was updated by my sister, Connie , who worked at Ohio Casualty. My sympathy to your family.

Jody, your father was a pillar of strength to the Englewood community, and a wonderful father, especially to have raised such an amazing daughter as you! I remember your Dad helping out with the High School baseball team, and chastising me for parking in the wrong direction when I came to pick you up for our first date! May your fond memories of your Dad only grow more beautiful through the years, as you cherish forever what can never be forgotten ... all the love you gave him, and all the love and laughter and goodness he gave to you.
