

BLAKE, Ronald Sr. Eugene "Bucket" 66 of Trotwood passed away peacefully Friday, October 28, 2016 at home with his family at his side. Ronald leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 44 years Barbara A. (nee Gilbert) Blake, three sons and daughters-in-law Ronald Jr. and Tamara Blake, Curtis Sr. and Keisha Blake, David Sr. and Holly Blake; three daughters Kristina Blake, LaToia Blake, LaTonya Blake. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren Chelsea Adams, Ronald Blake III, Destine Blake, Roderick Blake, Ryan Blake, Tylisha Melendez, Ciona Blake, Curtis Blake Jr., Corisha Blake, Tyla Blake, Kyah Blake, David Blake II, Havyn Blake, two great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law Edward and Karen Blake; three sisters and one brother-in-law Theresa M. Blake, Deboria and Keith Harrison, Cynthia Blake, two uncles Richard and Norman Talbott, two aunts Carolyn Talbott, Catherine Conners, mother-in-law Johnnie M. Gilbert, three brothers-in-law Jerry Sanderfur, Nathaniel (Shirley) Johnson, Donald Gilbert, sister-in-law Patricia Sanderfur, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Robert E. and Dorothy (nee Talbott) Blake, one brother Roger Blake, one sister Gwendolyn Blake and maternal grandmother Cora B. Talbott. Ron was a retired machinist from Flowserve formerly Duriron after 30 years of dedicated service, he was a member of United Missionary Baptist Church where he was a photographer and videographer and was the kitchen technician for the church until his health failed him. Ron enjoyed the outdoors especially rabbit hunting and fishing with his brother Ed. He was a graduate of Jefferson Senior High School class of “69”. Ron’s family will receive friends Thursday, November 3, 2016 at the UNITED MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 900 Lexington Avenue, Dayton 45406 starting at 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of his life at 12:00 noon with Reverend LeRoy Cothran presiding.
