Ruth Hensley

HENSLEY, Ruth D., 88 of Dayton, passed away Monday, November 21, 2011 at the Maria Joseph Living Care Center. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Odie M. Hensley, two brothers Dempsey and Quinton Merida, one sister Charlene Merida. Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Eugene “Gene” and Roberta “Dodie” Hutchinson of Lexington, KY, one sister Virginia Johnson of Las Vegas, one grandchild, three great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. She was a nurse and had owned and operated a home health care business in her home, retiring in 1999. Her family will receive friends at the Woodland Cemetery Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Drive, Dayton, Tuesday, November 29, 2011 starting at 11:00 AM followed by a service at 12 noon with Pastor Donald Payne presiding, burial will follow in the cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME ENGLEWOOD CHAPEL, 675 West Wenger Road.
