Angelina Miramontes; Sister, Wife, Mother, and Grandmother passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on October 26th, 2018. Angelina (Grandma) was born and raised in Escondido, CA. Her Mother was a California native, and her Father, a native of Mexico. Angelina was the eldest of her siblings. She grew up poor, but still would share with me the happy times of her childhood. This is what made her humble, and the strongest woman I grew up to know. She would later fall in love with, and marry, Blas Miramontes (Grandpa). They would have six children. Five boys and one girl. This meant she had to be tough, and on her toes at all times. But, at the end of the day, she loved her family very much. My grandmother always made sure the house was clean, you were clean, and you had a full belly. I came to know this well when I came to live with her when I was 7. This was the begining of a beautiful friendship. She would share her life stories with me...Her tips in cooking, and cleaning. She took a lot of pride in health after her stroke, she wasn't ready to leave us yet. She would go to the gym 3 times a week and watched what she ate. She was our hero, and we all cheered her on. She looked and felt great. I loved watching her get ready with her red lipstick, rosey cheeks, and brows done. She would finish it off by dotting her beauty mark above her lip. If you knew her, you knew that beauty mark. My Grandmother loved her daytime shows, Ophra, reading the news paper, and her Star tabloids. My grandmother was definitely the rock of this family. We all thank her for loving us, and all of her sacrifice. Grandma, your memory will live on in us, and we will love you forever. May you rest in sunshine my beautiful angel, and visit us in our dreams.

My family was blessed to be a part of Angelinas life thru Manuel. We have been able to spend many life celebrations with her and make some amazing memories to cherish. Our 4 year old daughter loved her Gamma and would make sure she was the first person to say hello and goodbye to. We will miss her dearly and will continue to celebrate her life with her amazing son Manuel and Candace. We love you all
