Ariel Eduardo Acosta , 57, of San Diego passed away on Saturday Feb.1, 2014. He was born to Alfredo and Aida Acosta in Chihuahua, Mexico on April 8, 1956. Ed was self-employed and ran his own contracting business in San Diego. Ed is survived by his four children: Elizabeth Acosta 37, Jennifer Gibson 36, Margarita Vieaux 32 , Matthew Acosta 27. He is also survived by five grandchildren. Ed loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved playing board games such as Trouble, Mexican Train, and Continental. He loved most sports, such as basketball, racquetball, and football. Ed was a social butterfly, so at any event, you would find people gathered around him to hear a few stories, past or present. He was a very loving and giving man who left too soon and will be greatly missed. For any contributions, the family is requesting donations to be made to help fundraise for cost of services. Ed did a lot of much needed work on our home over the last year and a half. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. A big heart and gentle soul that we all will miss.
