2/6/1960-12/5/2025
Cheryl came into this world on the morning of February Sixth Nineteen-sixty in Lakewood, California. The Daughter of Mary Patricia "Pat" Brennan, a Homemaker. And Glenn Martin Kuhse, an Electrical Technician. Cheryl grew up went to High School in nearby Long Beach. Shortly after High School she met and had two children with Michael Allen Paster. In the intervening years she met and kept many lifelong friends that loved her till the end. Cheryl loved animals, having many pets herself. Its no surprise she worked in multiple veterinary offices. In 2006 she moved to Escondido, California and worked for the North County Times newspaper for a number of years for the until it shut its doors.
A large part of Cheryl's personality was a desire to help others. She found a calling for, and was deeply active with the NA community, gathering more loyal friends a long the way. She traveled across the country with friends to multiple conventions, inspiring others in their struggle with addiction. For over a decade she worked for Interfaith Community Services. Distributing Turkeys on Thanksgiving and a toy drive on Christmas every year despite the effort involved. Cheryl enjoyed the company of others even if she occasionally claimed otherwise. She always had an ear open to listen to your problems as she told you her own.
A firm source of solace to her brother and adult children. The best playmate to her grandson.
A service will be held for Cheryl at a date to be determined by her family in the new year.
