Esther will be remembered as a loving and caring, mother and friend. Always putting others ahead of herself and never once complaining.. She was a hard worker while taking care of her 8 children and her husband Jose. Esther loved to cook for her family and especially for family gatherings. She would always greet you with a hug, smile and blessing. When you left you would get three kisses. One for the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Esther is survived by her daughter Maria Emelda Magallon-Ceja of Mexico; her son Carlos Magallon-Ceja (Leticia) of Escondido, California; her son Gilberto Magallon-Ceja (Alicia) of San Diego, California; her daughter Bertha Alicia Magallon-Ceja (Carlos) of Bakersfield, California; her daughter Leticia Ramirez (Mike) of Escondido, California; her son Luis G. Magallon-Ceja (Arcelia) of Escondido, California; her daughter Maria Magallon-Ceja of Escondido, California; and her son Sergio Magallon-Ceja (Sandra) of Valley Center, California.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband Jose G. Magallon.
Esther is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Esther will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McLeod Mortuary, 1919 East Valley Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92027. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Church of the Resurrection, 1445 Conway Dr., Escondido, CA 92027.
