Evelyn worked for the Time Advocate Newspaper from 1972-1976, and for NCR for 15 years, retiring in 1993.
Evelyn is survived by her husband of 59 years, Elvin Kimbrell, her children, Bradley (Patty) Kimbrell, Jo Lynn (Steve) Vincent, Tahli (Nick) Henry,
and Tom (Martha) Kimbrell, as well as 9 grandchildrenand 1 great-grandchild.
A family visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 12:00 noon on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel McLeod, 1919 E. Valley Pkwy, Escondido. Internment will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido. Donations may be made to Parkinson’s Association, 8555 Aero Dr., Suite 308, San Diego, CA 92123-1745.
