

James Michael Miller, 62, was born January 19, 1957, at Palomar Hospital in Escondido, California. Growing up in Valley Center he was one of five children of Thomas S. and Jeanne (Boss) Miller. Jimmy graduated from Escondido High School, Class of 1975. On March 7th, 1981 he married his high school sweetheart, Kelly Ann (Menefee) Sommers. They had two children, son, Tommy, and daughter, Heather Sanders. Heather and Son-in-law, Steven Sanders then gave him two beautiful grandchildren, Abbie Ann and Steven James.
Jimmy loved a good game of golf, riding his Harley-Davidson, and cruising his jet boat down the Colorado River. From an early age, he had an uncanny talent for customizing motorcycles, boats and all kinds of gadgets. He never said no to his mother when she needed a ride to the doctor or needed something fixed around her house. He was part-owner with his brothers, of the Escondido based family-run business Frontier Fence Co.
On February 14th, 2019 James passed away leaving behind to cherish his memory his children; Tommy and Heather, twin brother Tommy, sister-in-law Lisa, sister, Michelle, older brothers, Curt and Mark, sister-in-law Beth and his step-mother MaryAnne (Mitchell) Miller. He is also survived by a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends that love him and will miss him dearly.
Jimmy had a kind soul with a tender heart and touched the lives of so many people around him.
