Juan Solis Benitez, one of the strongest, most hard working men passed peacefully on the evening of November 13th this year. By the young age of 64, Juan had raised multiple children, developed a successful landscaping company, but most importantly created so many everlasting memories with his loved ones.
Juan was always the life of the party, constantly cracking jokes. Even in the past year, while fighting one of the most aggressive forms of cancer, Juan managed to put a smile on his daughters’ faces as well as the many nurses & doctors that tended to him. Juan was also very generous. Even when he himself was struggling to make ends meet, he’d offer a helping hand to those in need. As an immigrant with only a 6th grade education, he was able to build his mini empire while also helping other young immigrants learn the landscaping trade. The many sacrifices he made & lessons he passed along will be ingrained in our memories & will serve as inspiration for years to come.
Juan was a great father, husband, son, & friend. There is no doubt that his memory will live on forever. He planted millions of seeds, both in the ground & in our hearts.
