I am heartbroken to announce the death of my father, Julio Velasquez. He passed away peacefully at the age of 69, surrounded by friends and family. My dad enjoyed listening to music, exploring new places, always being surrounded by friends and family, and was always cracking a joke. He leaves behind his wife Evelyn Mendez, daughters Nancy Velasquez and Derilyn Velasquez, and his granddaughter Ellie Molina. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. We would love you to come and honor his life at McLeod Mortuary 1919 East Valley pkwy Escondido, California 92027 on March 20, 2023 from 3:00pm-7:00pm.
