Kevin Francis Doerr

Kevin Francis Doerr, 55, of San Diego, California, passed away on October 28, 2025.

Born on January 4, 1970, in Richmond, California, Kevin was the beloved son of the late John J. Doerr and Laurie L. Doerr and brother of the late Curtis E. Doerr.

Kevin is survived by his sisters, Angela M. Owens and Juliann L. Nichols, and their spouses and children: Robert G. Owens, Jeremiah R. Owens, James C. Nichols, and Nathaniel J. Nichols., who will forever cherish his humor, warmth, and generous spirit.

A proud graduate of Orange Glen High School, Kevin went on to become an ASE Certified Mechanic for the Ford Motor Company. His love for cars began early, working beside his father in the family machine shop and restoring classic vehicles in his free time.

Beyond his passion for mechanics, Kevin was an athlete, a lover of sports, and a musician at heart. He played guitar and bass in a rock and roll band with friends and joyfully shared his talents in the worship band at his mother’s church.

Those who knew Kevin remember him as a good son, brother, and loyal friend — a man whose laughter and kindness left lasting marks on all who crossed his path.

Kevin will join his family and be laid to rest at Valley Center Cemetery, where he will rest in peace surrounded by love.
