In addition to taking care of her children, Maria enjoyed sewing, knitting, and cooking. She was very fond of bright colors.. She also had a deep commitment to being a member or the Jehovah's Witness Faith.
Maria is survived by her daughter Delia Diaz (Luis) of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico; her daughter Olga Garcia (Jose) of Escondido, California; her daughter Dialtriz Gillens (Jesus) of Mexico; her daughter Marta Torrez (Chonteca) of San Diego, California; her son Alfredo Fierros (Maria) of Vista, California; her son Juan Fierros (Maria) of Temecula, California; and her son Mario Fierros of Escondido, California.
Maria was preceded in death by her daughter Anna M. Yepez; her father Rosendo Vazquez and her mother Maria Arciga.
Maria is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was 1 or 6 siblings.
A funeral service for Maria will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at McLeod Mortuary, 1919 East Valley Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92027, followed by a visitation from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
