He served in the United States Navy and worked many years as an architectural draftsman. He enjoyed nature, birds and being outdoors. He also liked to spend time with his family, attend hockey games and photography.
Michael is survived by his wife of 26 years, Sharon; Daughter Melanie; Sons Michael and Christopher; Brother and sister-in-law Mardon and Marilyn; and grandchildren Taylor, Damon and Saige.
A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Monday, March 1, 2010 at McLeod Mortuary,1919 E. Valley Parkway ~ Escondido, CA. Pastor Ed Bush will officiate. A private cremation is planned. Arrangements under the direction of McLeod Mortuary-Escondido Chapel, Escondido, CA.
