Philip served in the USMC during the Korean conflict. He was an entrepreneur and an accountant for over 50 years.
He is survived by his daughters, Cindy (Dan) Keane of San Diego, CA.; Wendy Wilson of Denver, CO., and Melinda (Dave) Blyth of Lafayette, CO.; son Forrist T. Lytehaause of Colorado Springs, CO.; stepdaughter, Lesa (Mike) Skarlot of Phoenix, AZ; sister Nancy King of Laguna Hills, CA and eight grandchildren.
A funeral mass with military honors will be held at 11am on Friday, February 4, 2011 at St. Michael's Catholic Church, 15546 Pomerado Road, Poway. Burial will take place at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria del Angel McLeod, Escondido, CA.
