Shoneen was the first person to welcome us into the neighborhood, and we miss her intelligence and humor. She was a very special person.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Family and Friends,

I'm sorry I haven't been keeping you updated.  There was mostly unhappy news.

Shoneen passed away Sunday afternoon from stage 4 ovarian cancer.  She was 63.

We will hold a memorial service in a few weeks time to allow people far away to make travel plans.

It was her wish to be cremated and laid to rest in a niche in the memorial garden at Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church. We plan to hold the memorial service there and a reception afterward tentatively at Rancho Bernardo Winery nearby.

The RPCPC people are busy with holiday special events and the memorial coordinator will be out of town until January 6 so we will schedule a service shortly after Jan 6, 2014.
