Vollie "Ray" Erler was born in Austin, Texas on August 14, 1933 to the late Herman and Virgin Mary Erler. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy from 1950 to 1954. For 27 years Ray ran and owned Vista Motors. He had a true passion for painting and writting poetry. Ray has been a long term resident of the San Diego county for over 28 years.
On April 16, 2012 Ray passed away leaving behind to cherish his memory, his son; Glen R. Erler, step-sons; Joe, Frank and John Bruni and a host of family and friends. He will truly be missed by all he loved and loved him.
