Henrietta Emma Emma Kennedy

Henrietta “Emma” (Hernandez) Kennedy 92 of Etna, passed away on July 4, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Juan and Concepcion (Rojas) Hernandez. Loving wife of the late Robert W. Kennedy; beloved mother of Thelma (Donald) Kennedy Penny and Martha M. (Allan) Muders; grandmother of Angela Lynn (Robert) Russ-Roper; step-grandmother of Ashley Ann (Anthony) Lettrich Celender; sister of Theresa Holmes, Hector Hernandez, Phyllis Hernandez and Cruz Coats.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Paul Hernandez and two sisters, Josephine Hernandez and Mildred Butler.

In her free time, Emma enjoyed sewing, crocheting and doing word search puzzles. She also faithfully worked the elections polls each year.

Friends will be received Monday from 4-7pm in the Ogrodnik-Hahn Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Butler St.,412-781-0571. Additional visitation will be held Tuesday from 10-11am in the funeral home, with entombment to follow in Mt. Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St.
