Unexpectedly, on Monday, June 25, 2012, age 60, of Bellevue, formerly of Etna. Devoted son of Margaret M. (Kelleher) and the late Edward L. Jacobs, Sr.; loving brother of Thomas, Virginia "Ginny" Cautela (Anthony), Kathleen Basulto (the late Philip), Joseph, Edward, Jr. (Susan) and Michael Jacobs; also survived by six nephews & nieces and eight great-nephews & great-nieces. Friends received 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the OGRODNIK-HAHN FUNERAL HOME, INC., 333 Butler St., Etna. Mass of Christian Burial St. Juan Diego Parish, Madonna of Jerusalem Church, Monday 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Sharps Hill. Rick will be remembered by all as the greatest fan of his Pittsburgh sports teams. Family extends their sincere appreciation to the Step By Step organization who managed Richard's care over the years.
