Age 87, of Shaler Twp., formerly of the North Side, passed away November 25, 2014, in his home. He was born July 29, 1927, a son of the late Vincent and Kathleen Cassandro. He was the loving father of the late Vincent J. Cassandro, Jr.; beloved brother of Kathleen Malarkey, Sal Cassandro, Mafalda Gurany, and the late Carmella Hogan and the late Elvira Gould. Vincent was a vetean of the U.S. Navy having served in WWII and the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by PennDot.
