Ann was born August 4, 1926 in Birmingham, Alabama to William and Bertha McAnnally. She remained in Birmingham until she decided to journey out to California and ending up in Fort Bragg. It is there that she meets and marries the love of her life, Rudy.
Ann spent almost 50 years in Eureka. Her and her husband, Rudy, came to Eureka in 1962, bought their home and enjoyed many wonderful years here together.
Ann’s many interests included but not limited to family, gardening/yard work, reading, cooking, shopping at thrift stores, yard sales and many fun and exciting road trips. Ann could accomplish anything she set her mind to. She could take any simple plain item and turn it into a masterpiece. She could whip up a scrumptious meal big enough to feed an army, but fit for a king, and it would be your own fault if you walked away still hungry.
Ann is survived by her sister Jeanette Owens and her brother Marvin McAnnally, along with children Tom Motherwell, Nancy Mouw, Rick Motherwell and their spouses, and Rex Urbani, in addition to several grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph J. Urbani and many other family members.
At Ann’s request there will be no services held, but she would most definitely want it conveyed to each and every one of her family members that she loved them with all her heart and “MOST OF ALL”.
Ann’s family would like to extend to Choi and Mike Watts and the staff of Hall Avenue Care home a deeply appreciated and heartfelt thank you for providing the loving care and support to Ann during the last few months of her life.
Arrangements under the direction of Pierce Mortuary, Eureka, CA.
