Shari Ella Johnson

Shari E. Johnson passed away July 31st, 2012 after a long battle with health problems. She was born on May 26th, 1943 and raised in Rio Dell, CA. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Annie Pedrotti. Shari married the late Walter Johnson. Together they raised 6 children.

Shari was a member of the Carlotta Grange for many years where she cooked eggs for all. She was also the Indian Education Supervisor at Fortuna Union High School for over 25 years. She later married the late John Murphy who passed away in 2011.

Shari loved to play Bingo with her daughter Toni. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Annie Pedrotti, sisters Phillis and Gwen, daughter Jhari and husbands Walter Johnson and John Murphy.

She is survived by her sisters Vicki and Pam, son James, daughters Toni, Tki, Cindra and Catrina, 18 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all medical teams and caretakers.

A potluck celebration of life will be held August 19th, 2012 at 1pm at Royal Crest Mobile Home Park, 2283 Crest Dr., Fortuna, in the recreation hall.
