He served in the US Army Reserve. Alan retired as a welder from BWXT and was a member of St. Peter's UCC. He enjoyed hunting and horse racing.
Alan was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Edward Daub and Glenn Daub.
He is survived by his siblings, Gary Daub, Vernon Daub (Jeanette), Gloria Wildeman (Frank), Cindy Arnold (Patrick), and Paul Daub, sister in law, Nancy Daub, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel, with burial to follow in St. Peter's UCC in Parker's Settlement. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
