

She graduated from F.J. Reitz High School in 1951 and went on to attend business college. Alice worked at Citizen Realty & Insurance and then as secretary-treasurer for her and her husband's business, Keck Construction, from 1962 - 2000. She also served as treasurer of Insurance Women of Southern Indiana.
Alice had a passion for golfing and was a member of Old State Country Club, Western Hills Country Club, and Clearcrest Pines Golf Course. She was a committee member of the Courier & Press Women's City Golf Tournament for many years. Alice played in both state and city golf tournaments from 1975 - 2003. She was also a member of the Kennel Club, and a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Darmstadt. Alice attended Sarah Bible Class at Trinity Lutheran for several years.
Alice's family was of the utmost importance to her. She loved them dearly and cherished time spent together.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 71 years, Donald Keck; parents, Harley and Helen (Judge) Seybold; son, Kerry Keck; grandson, Benjamin Moers; sister, Marilyn Lamb; and brother, Harley J. Seybold.
Alice is survived by her children, Beatrice Kay Keck (Wayne Haefele), Rhonda Moers (Jim), and Kenny Keck (Julie); daughter-in-law, Lisa Keck; grandchildren, Jacob Moers (Brook Overton), Jennifer Moers, Matthew Haefele, Alice Faulkner (Tracy), Anna Haefele, Donald Easton Keck, and Jessie Kaffenberger (Andrew); great-grandchildren, Owen and Kora Moers, Ellen and Adam Kaffenberger; sisters, Pat Askins and Wilma Jean McCoy (Ed); sister-in-law, Virginia Seybold; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at The Heritage Center for their care and compassion.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Darmstadt, officiated by Rev. James Glowinski, and livestreamed at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at church.
