Alice J. Thomas

She enjoyed a long career as a certified nursing assistant, working in both nursing homes and on private duty. Alice was affectionately known as "Squeak". She loved to crochet, and enjoyed going to Ellis Park and the casino. Alice was very kind and had a big heart. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, James A. and Alice E. (McBride) Craddock; loving husband, Wilford Thomas in 2007; son, Danny Thomas in 2023; great granddaughter, Ayla Dynell Thomas; brother, Steve Craddock; and sister, Debra Greenwalt.

She is survived by her son, Wilfred W. Thomas, Jr. (Kari); daughter, Donna Heironimus (Tony); grandchildren, Jacob Thomas, Prestin Thomas, Austin Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Nicholas Heironimus, and Kris Heironimus; great granddaughters, Tesla Nichole Thomas and Arya Lynn Thomas; sisters, Penny Shoptaugh (Randy), Sheila Williams, and Joyce Mallory; brothers, Jack Craddock (Angie), James Craddock (Susan), and Jerry Craddock (Cathy); and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Locust Hill Mausoleum Chapel, with burial to follow. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the mausoleum chapel.
