He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the Air Force. He was looking forward to being on the next Honor Flight to Washington, DC. Allen retired from American Airlines after many years of service.
Allen was preceded in death by his wife, Jamie; sister, Versa; and parents, Allen Walter, Sr. & Irene Summers.
He is survived by his niece, Lisa Boswell, her husband, Roberto Vega and their children, Gabriella Lisette and Roberto Jahir; his wife’s siblings, Jimmy, Margaret, and Tish.
Alexander East Chapel is handling all arrangements. Burial will take place at a later date in Hicks Cemetery in Perrysville, Indiana.
