Andrew G. Deig

Andrew G. Deig, 42, of Mt. Vernon, IN passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020. He was born on May 25, 1978. He was employed by Empire Contractors Inc. and was a member of the Iron workers Local Union #103 for 24 years. Andrew enjoyed boating, the outdoors and was an avid Ohio State fan. Andy also loved being surrounded by family and friends. Andrew is survived by his wife, Amy of 16 years; daughters, Baylee and Sydney Deig; step-son, Seth Goebel; father and step-mother, Dennis and Kathy Deig; mother and step-father, Pattie and Norm Ebert; sister, Kate Wilson and Fiancé Bill; he was a beloved cousin, nephew, and “funcle”. A visitation will be held 3-7 p.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020 at Alexander West Chapel with a private service to follow officiated by Chris Binkley. Masks are encouraged.
