Anita R. Vachon Ford

She was a member of Terrace Parke General Baptist Church and volunteered at Evansville Center for Women’s Ministries. She was a Medical Technologist for many years before becoming a Missionary to Honduras for General Baptist International. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, bird watching and playing games with her family.

Anita was an inspiration to her family through her dedication to God, work and care of others.

She was preceded in death by her husband of nine years, Clifton Ford, in 1998; and her parents.

Anita is survived by her son, Christopher Pelletier and wife, Joelle, of Indianapolis; daughter, Ann-Marie Myers and husband, Chris, of Evansville; stepdaughters, Molly Flodder and husband, Mark, of Muncie, IN and Becki Ryan and husband, Jerrold, of Mooresville, IN; grandchildren, David and Melissa Myers, Lucas and Jacob Pelletier, Maggie and Mallory Flodder, Alicia, Brittany and Kyle Ryan; sisters, Sr. Jeannine Vachon and Sue Vachon and husband, Bob Rio; and brother, Denis Vachon.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 24, 2010, at Alexander East Chapel. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
