She worked for TJ Maxx for 28 years as a forklift operator. She enjoyed movies, cooking for family and friends, shopping, and spending time with her family. She was filled with compassion and interest in others. She had a contagious laugh.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents; and grandsons, Braylon and Myles Hathaway.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Ron Diggs; sons, Ed (Chaya) Hathaway and Jordan Diggs; daughter, Brittany Diggs; grandson, Tyler Hathaway; sisters, Delores (James) Johnson and Cherice Saunders; brother, Ricky Hathaway; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 6, 2015, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Rabon L. Turner, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the church.
