Anna K. Waible

Anna retired in 1975 from ABC Discount Store where she was a Department Manager. She was a member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ. Anna loved reading, gardening, baseball and watching her children play softball.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Vernon G. Waible, Sr. (1996).

She is survived by her son, Vernon Gene Waible (Kristina); daughter, E. Diane Cook (Michael); son, Wm. Allen Waible (Michelle); grandchildren, Tracy Waible (Josh), Cheri Doehrmann (Joel), Rebecca Morse (Brian) and Cory Cook; great grandchildren, Adam Jay Morse and Grace Anna Morse.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, with burial to follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Columbia Healthcare Center or a favorite charity.
