

She was a nurse’s aide at The McCurdy Hotel, worked in housekeeping at the Executive Inn and retired from Lee’s Inn and Suites as supervisor of housekeeping. Anna was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed reading, gardening, and sunflowers. She loved animals, fishing, poetry, song writing, and art, especially Norman Rockwell. Anna was proud of her extensive collection of stamps and coins. Her favorite dessert was pumpkin pie and she loved watching the “The Golden Girls” on Hallmark with her daughter.
Anna was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Martha Daffron; sister, Linda Sue Daffron; brother, Kenneth Daffron; and best friend, Nancy McGrew.
She is survived by her daughter, Lacresha Williams; niece, Sherry Green; great niece, Raven Green; and great nephew, Damon Jones.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 9, 2024 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett. Friends and family may visit 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
