He was employed with Warehouse Services, Inc. He served in the Indiana National Guard. Anthony loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and NASCAR. He was a loyal brother and friend who loved people and was a jokester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Betty Heard and infant brother, Michael Pierce Heard.
Anthony is survived by brother, Edward P. Heard, Phoenix, AZ; sister, Betty R. Heard, Tallahassee, FL; nieces, Tracy Barnett Fritts (Robert), Sarah Barnett Pullum (Brian), Angela Barnett Rushing (Phillip); great-nieces Brittany Fritts, Kearsten & Hailey Dalton; and great-nephew, Robert Michael Fritts.
Services will be 2:00PM, Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Brett Doninger. Friends may visit, Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
