Red was a truck driver for 55 years and a member of Landmark Baptist Church. He loved his dogs Cricket and Scooter. He also loved visiting his brother-in-law, Carl Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara “Bobbie Sue” Duncan; children, Faye Williams, Relia Dukes and Relia Carol; and grandson, Phillip Jones.
Red is survived by his daughters, Gladys Williams (Robert) of Nortonville, KY, Dianne Cummings (Don) of Graham, KY, Linda Kay Jones (Bob) of Evansville, Christie Dupree (Tommy) of Greensboro, NC and Briana Cypress (Mark) of Evansville; sons, Roy Duncan (Phyllis) of Providence, KY, Earl Duncan (Marietta) of Nebo, KY, Kenny Willoughby, Brian Willoughby (Patty) of Evansville, Larry Duncan and Andrew Duncan (Van), both of Greenville, KY; 33 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be 12:00 PM Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Eaton, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses in the 2900 ICU Unit at Deaconess Hospital, with special thanks to Margaret and Jamie for keeping dad on his toes and to Jessie for his support and compassion at the end.
