

Barbara lived a life filled with warmth, laughter and unwavering love for her family.
Born in 1939, Barbara was known for her generous spirit, sharp wit, and infectious laugh that could brighten any room. She was woman of strength and deep kindness, always putting others before herself and offering comfort with a listening ear and a loving heart.
Barbara had a passion for cooking and interior design. She had a flair for style-whether decorating a room or doing someone’s hair and brought beauty and confidence to those around her. She delighted in storytelling, her eyes bright and smile kind. She especially treasured time with her family and took immense pride in watching her children and grandchildren grow.
She is survived by her children, Laurie Latham Brandt and her husband Bob, Duane Latham, Deana Latham Hoffmann and her husband Nick; grandchildren, Paige & William Brandt, Hanna, Sheldon and Hadley Latham, Kayla & Willa Hoffmann; Sister, Mary Miller; Brother, Dr John Cox, wife Vicki; and many nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Jerome “Jerry Latham; sister, Gayle Brinker; mother & father, Laura & William Cox.
A celebration of Barbara’s life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at The Bauerhaus, 13605 Darmstadt Road, Evansville, Indiana 47725.
Barbara Sue Latham’s legacy is one love and grace and resilience. She will deeply be missed and lovingly remembered.
