Barbara Dean “Bobbi” Parrent, 86, of Evansville, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Good Samaritan Home. She was born November 6, 1928, in Evansville, IN to the late Roy and Virginia (Crook) Ellis.
Barbara was a member of the United Methodist Church in Newburgh, IN.
She also belonged to the St. Barbara Society, played bridge, enjoyed golfing, and loved to travel.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, James Parrent, Sr.; son, James Parrent, Jr.; and infant daughter, Deborah.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie Parrent Engler and grandson, Andrei
Parrent.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Good Samaritan Home, Pathways I and II for their loving care.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, with entombment in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
