Barbara J. Todd

Barbara J. Todd, 65, of Evansville, IN passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024. She was born in Ft. Benning, Georgia on August 17, 1958 to the late Lee and Eunice (Thompson) Hodge. Barbara was enjoying her retirement. She loved watching birds and her cats. One of her favorite things to do was spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed fishing with her husband. Barbara’s favorite TV shows were the Wheel of Fortune and wrestling. She also enjoyed playing Scrabble and working puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters. Barbara is survived by her husband of 26 years, Tony Todd; son, Charles Homer Dixon III (Staci); daughter, Melissa Crow (Harry); son, Allan Ray Thompson, Jr.; daughter, Monica Williams (Jimmy); son, Brandon Creppel (Hay Leigh); daughter, Jessica Head; grandchildren, Kaleigh Fletcher, Elijah Dixon, Kalissa Dixon, Isaiah Dixon, Faith Dixon, Brandon Kirk, Olivia Kirk, Cameron Kirk, Jayden Thompson, Donald Olivier (Kristen), Joseph Olivier (Samantha), Jessica Goff (Dalton), Jakob Williams, Jackson Williams, Legend and Kiya, Jayvon Head and Jayleigh Head; five great grandchildren; one aunt, nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Pastor Kathy West, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society.
