Barbara Williams

Barbara Jean Williams, 85, of Evansville, IN passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at her home. She was born on December 2, 1938, in Tacoma, Washington to the late Theodore and Mabel (Spooner) Rider.

After Barbara’s husband passed away, she took his position as a delivery truck driver for a delivery service in South Carolina. She had also worked in cleaning and as a parking attendant at Columbia Metropolitan Airport in Columbia, SC. Barbara was a very hard worker and enjoyed providing for her family. She was a military wife and enjoyed helping other military families. Everyone was family to her. If you were a friend, you were family. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred L. Williams (2002); and daughter, Theresa Mary Butler (2014).

Barbara is survived by her son, Necholas Valceanu (Kelly); grandchildren, Jamie Nichole Valceanu, Nicholas J.W. Valceanu, and Tristin Coleman.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Olive Branch Cemetery in Hanson, Kentucky with Pastor Troy Smith officiating.
