I was in Barb’s class of 67 and saw her at the 50th reunion - she has always been a delight to my life and many others. We hooked up on Facebook and I loved her stories of flexibility she posted. She was so amazing. Then recently, I realized we were not seeing any posts, and I was about to look up her Facebook when MY sister, Patty Rech, sent me this. I know you are hurting a ton with her passing and wish to offer my sincere condolences. We are all standing in line for our turn. She just got to heaven sooner.. it was her time. We joked about both having big sisters named Patty! Both of us felt very lucky. May you be relieved of all the grief that follows this every time. 

My condolences to family and friends.  I had the pleasure of serving with Barbara in the Navy. We both worked at the 11th Naval District Headquarters and spent some time off together.  She was a bubbly personality and a joy to be with.  May she rest in peace.

Barb was in my younger sister's class at North; Pat(ty) was in mine...favorite people in my long-ago memories.  Rest well, Barb...sweet thoughts of you and your family with us.

So sorry to hear of her passing.  I knew both her and her sister Pat way back in elementary school days at Vogel.  She will certainly be missed.

So sorry to learn of Barb's death. Our families were close childhood friends, thanks to our athletic fathers. I remember an hilarious " rubber band fight" in Evansville, in  either Barb or Pat's room. Have always had warm memories of the Myers family. One of you girls wore my wedding dress, I think...another fond memory.

We were classmates at North High School and since our graduation, I have seen and talked with her on  several occassions.  She has always been very compassionate with a strong personality.
