Beatrice M. Edwards

She owned and operated the Gingham House restaurant in Grayville, IL. After retirement, she worked as a substitute for the EVSC in the cafeteria. Beatrice enjoyed cooking and crocheting afghans.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Teddy Edwards; and brother, Max Cattron.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Sallee; grandchildren, Krista Sallee, Jeff Sallee (Renee), and Curtis Sallee (Ashley); great grandchildren, Avery, Alyssa, Alexa, Kason, Krue, Navey, Knox, Brooklynn, and Easton; 4 great great grandchildren; sister, Becky Owens; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday May 19, 2025 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Mark Owens, with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. The service will be live-streamed at www.Facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
