Beatrice Williams
January 9, 1927 – June 6, 2019

Beatrice Williams, 92 of Evansville, IN passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born on January 9, 1927 in Webster County, KY to the late Noah Vandygriff and Helen (Hobgood) Cates.
Beatrice was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved God and was a member of Boeke Road Baptist Church. Beatrice helped out with Vacation Bible School and taught Sunday school at several area churches. She was proud to have worked at Mead Johnson and was a homemaker. Beatrice loved traveling with her husband, playing games, cooking and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Hayden Vandygriff; granddaughter, Shannon Renee Reinbrecht; and daughter-in-law Cathy Williams.
Beatrice is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Curtis W. Williams; daughters, Kathy Reinbrecht (John) and Tammy Kiesel (Mark); sons, Steve Williams (Laima) and Fred Williams; grandchildren, Jerrod Williams (Crystal), Brandon Williams, Todd Williams (Sherie), Laura Williams, Erin Baehl (Nathan) and Stephanie Rice (Kris); twelve great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother John Cates.
The family would like to thank the Good Samaritan Nursing Home and their staff for their loving care.
Funeral Services will be held 6:00 p.m. June 10, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel with the Rev. Stephen Russ officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Slaughters, KY. Friends may visit 2:00 p.m. until service time at the chapel.
