Bessie Marie Patterson

She was raised in Livermore, KY and moved to Evansville when she married her husband. She was an Orthopedic Nurse at St. Mary’s for 25 years. Bessie was originally a member of First United Methodist Church and then began attending St. Luke Lutheran Church. She was very active in the Republican Party and was an avid reader.

Bessie was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Norwood Patterson; two brothers; parents; and in-laws, Jesse and Vera Patterson; and brother-in-law, Temme Patterson.

She is survived by her daughter, Kit Patterson Holland-Eichholz, and her husband, John Eichholz; grandchildren, Christopher, Ainsley, and Jonathan; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Gladys Clark.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tom Vanselow. Friends may visit Thursday from 2:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
