

Betty was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She attended Crossroads Christian Church and was a member of The Kennel Club. The Charlier Visiting Nurse Hospice was named in honor of contributions by Betty and her late husband, John Charlier.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Charlier (Pamela) of Memphis, TN; daughter, Julia Charlier of Tampa, FL; and three grandchildren, Laura Charlier of Rome, GA, Jennifer Charlier of Pell City, AL, and David Charlier, Honolulu, HI; sister-in-law, Phyllis Charlier of Ottawa, IL; four great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John (Jack) Charlier in 2005, infant daughter, Gail Charlier, two sisters, and two brothers.
The family would like to express their gratitude to all of the nursing staff who lovingly cared for her.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Tuesday February 22, 2022 at Alexander North Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m.. A private burial will take place after the funeral service.
Final resting place will be next to her husband and daughter at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Christian Church.
