She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She graduated from Reitz High School in 1938 and then worked on the West Side at Mead Johnson, Miller 5 and $1 Dollar Store and Miller’s Drug Store.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Dersch, in 1994.
She is survived by her sister, Doris (Charles) Deutsch; nieces, Darlene (Stephen) Dycus and Debra (Jeffrey) Bosley; great-nieces, Dr. Dawn Dycus (Alex) Wells and Rachel (Scott) Wambach; great-nephew, Brian Bosley; nephews, Louis (Kate) Dersch, Jr. and Henry (Teresa) Dersch Jr.
Private services will be held at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Chad Eckles, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park.
