Betty J. Parker

Betty loved her family and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved camping, crocheting, reading, traveling, and touring the country by motorcycle with her husband, Earl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy (Pryor) Saunders and Russell “Pete” Perkins; and brother, Billy Perkins.

Betty is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earl G. Parker; daughters, Carol Mackey (Matt Weintraut) of Evansville and Sheryl Ezell (Jeff) of Henderson, KY; sons, Michael Parker (Susan) of Flowery Branch, GA and Joel Parker (Beth) of Elberfeld; sister, Sandy Klueh (Leon); grandchildren, Amanda Mackey, Matthew Parker, Ryan Parker (Jennifer), Dana Harris (Brian), Laura Jolly (Nick Crawly), Kevin Jolly, Megan Parker, Kristin Parker, Benjamin Parker, Rachel Berger and Isabelle Parker; great grandchildren, Nathan and Brooklyn Parker and Caleb Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jack Neighbors, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 12-Noon until service time at the funeral home.
