She graduated from Central High School and was employed as a telephone operator at Indiana Bell. Betty was also employed at Topps Smorgasbord and Stewarts Cafeteria.
Betty was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Darmstadt where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. She was also a member of the Youth of Yesterday and the Ladies Aid at Trinity.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Woodburn, Jr.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Mildred McElwee of Evansville, Doris Williamson (Dennis) of Evansville; daughter, Debra Quinn (Paul) of Evansville; sons, David Woodburn (Sherry) of Henderson, Roger Woodburn (Sharon) of Rockport, and Randy Woodburn (Cathy) of Boonville; grandchildren, Michael Woodburn, Sarah Kohler, Sherry Ann Asdell, Stacy Christian, Susan Evans, Penny Howard, Brandy Woodburn, Samantha and Jon Kuhr, and Brandi Jourdon; 16 great-grandchildren.
