Billy Ray Latham

Billy R. Latham, 67, of Evansville, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born June 22, 1947, in Evansville to Mildred Louise (Keeling) Latham Daniel and the late Ocus Latham.

He worked at Whirlpool for 40 years and was a member of West Side Church of Christ. He enjoyed working in his yard and watching basketball, baseball, and football. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and watching religious shows on TV and reading his Bible.

Billy was preceded in death by his father; and step-father, Leonard Daniel.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Linda (Garland) Latham; son, Bryan (Karen) Latham of Inverness, FL; mother, Mildred Louise Latham Daniel; step-children, Derk Clutter of Evansville, Danielle Wilson of Lynnville, Deanna Clutter of Louisville, and Deneen (David) Myers of Newburgh; grandchildren, Meghan Clutter, Dillon Clutter, Cheyanne Wilson, Amanda (Jason) Roach, Lauren Myers, Austin Myers, Larkan Thompson, and Haydin Roeder; brothers, Donnie (Shirley) Latham and Larry Latham; sister, Sandi (Mike) Fisher; stepbrother, Rick (Patty) Daniel; stepsister, Teresa Wiggins; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Larry Albritton, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
