Billy Mayberry

He worked as Office Manager for Lewis Bakery for 37 years and was also a CPA and filed taxes for many people. Billy was an active member of St. James West United Methodist Church. He loved to travel and had traveled to almost all 50 states.

Billy was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha (Irvin) Mayberry; brothers, Marvin Eugene, Donald “Donnie”, Vernon and Robert Mayberry; step-daughter, Kathleen Dayvolt; and grandson, Robert Acker.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jacqueline (Werner) Mayberry; children, Barbara Acker, Brenda Koch, Billy Mayberry, Jr. and Robert Mayberry; step-children, Tamara Deicken and Helen Seifert; nine grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Lowell “Thomas” Mayberry; and his beloved dog, Maggie.

Memorial Services were held 11:00 AM Monday, January 25, 2016, at St. James West UMC, 3101 Hillcrest Terrace, officiated by Rev. Gene Backes. Friends visited Monday from 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
