Bobby and his wife, Jackie, owned and operated the Moonlite Tavern, 1212 Stringtown Rd., for 28 years and co-owned the Greening Corporation until retirement. He met his wife, Jackie, at the Burdette Park roller skating rink and they were married for 64 years. Bobby enjoyed family vacations, his grandchildren, and Kim’s chicken and dumplings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Marcella Harlan; two grandchildren; four brothers, and two sisters.
Bobby is survived by six children, Robert Harlan, Gregory Harlan, Dennis Harlan (Sherry), Kim Todd (Mark), Melony Hurm (Steve), Kelly Biggs (Mike); 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 11:00AM Thursday, March 13, 2014, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, officiated by Father Kenneth Herr. Friends may visit Thursday from 10:00AM until service time at the cemetery.
