She and her husband, Art, owned H & H Music in Evansville from 1970 to 1986. Bonnie met Art when she was his accompanist for his high school musical productions. She was also accompanying solo vocal work for churches at that time. She was still playing piano duets with her neighbor until a year ago. All three of Bonnie and Art’s children became musicians.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Arthur Holm; son, Mark Holm of Evansville; and brother, Wayne Howe of Rockford, IL.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Annette (Gary) Smith of Dallas, TX, and Anita (Norman) Charles of Evansville; brother, Richard (Shirley) Howe of Harrodsburg, KY; daughter-in-law, Donna (Kercher) Holm; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one niece; two nephews; five great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, February 21, 2015, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Lynn Renne, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
